This latest edition of Severed From Reality, is just that–late. I beg your pardon, dear internutters. I know that you depend on this weekly dose of insanity to get you through the week. Please believe me that I truly did my best to get this out to you, but mental fatigue and general morosity had gotten the better of me. I can only promise that I will try to avoid this again. I have backdated this post, not as a ruse, but for posterity and to remind me that this story should have been posted July 29th, 2015. The next one will be published on August 5th, 2015. I promise to do my best to be punctual.
This week, we’ve got a twisted tale that reminds us to go with our instincts. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.
Meet Percy Bild, a somewhat dull young man who has a peculiar skill with a scythe. Follow Percy as his special skill harvests a sickly crop that can only grown in fields that have been Severed From Reality.
Please read and enjoy, To Scythe a Vetch.
Thanks for reading. If you like that short story, don’t forget to read the others.
